During the meeting, issues such as developing sericulture in the country, raising silkworms, strengthening the food base, improving the process of raising chicks, and ensuring employment for the population were reviewed. In particular, the issue of training qualified mid-level specialists for the sericulture industry was discussed.
Preparing Personnel and Integrating the Education System
The parties exchanged views on further deeply integrating the vocational education system with production, developing dual education, ensuring the employment of technical school graduates, and preparing personnel that meet labor market demands.
Cooperation Memorandum Signed
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Vocational Education Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, and the 'Uzbekpaksanoat' association to strengthen cooperation in the field of vocational education. Within the scope of the memorandum, it is planned to improve curricula in the sericulture sector, effectively organize production practices, enhance the qualifications of educators, introduce foreign language teaching, and implement short-term professional courses.
Furthermore, the parties agreed to initiate cooperation on organizing joint seminars, forums, and professional skill competitions, and widely involving technical graduates in vacant positions in industry enterprises.
