Applications for the 25th edition of the Tile of Spain Awards have opened, inviting professionals to submit projects where ceramic coverings are central elements.
The award aims to recognize works that demonstrate the potential of ceramic coverings produced in Spain as architectural materials. Projects must be submitted in the Architecture or Interior Design categories.
Architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and decorators who have completed works highlighting the notable use of Tile of Spain ceramic coverings are eligible.
Over its twenty-five editions, the Tile of Spain Awards has highlighted notable projects, valuing the quality, innovation, and excellence in the application of ceramic coverings intended for floors and walls, manufactured by companies affiliated with ASCER.
The prizes offered include amounts of up to €8,000 for the Architecture category and up to €8,000 for Interior Design. The final deadline for submitting projects is October 22, 2026.
The Tile of Spain Awards is organized and promoted by ASCER, which is the Spanish Association of Ceramic Manufacturers. For clarification of doubts, interested parties can send an email to premios@ascer.es, and they can also consult the list of companies associated with ASCER whose products are eligible to compete for the awards.
Max von Werz Arquitectos, working in partnership with Maurici Mesta Arquitectos, conceived the museography project for the exhibition titled Constellations and Drifts: Art of Latin America, which features works from the FEMSA Collection.
The show officially opened on March 19, 2026. The exhibition venue is the Museum of Contemporary Art of Monterrey (MARCO). Visitors can appreciate the exhibition until August 9, 2026.
