The Managing Committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust held a meeting where important decisions were made regarding the organization and convenience for pilgrims, considering the expected increase in visitors during the Shravan month.
Regarding discrepancies in donation counting, the final report from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has not yet been received, so no final decision was made on this matter. The committee members took into account the progress of the legal proceedings in the Supreme Court and the court's orders.
An inspection was conducted on the security staff's access to all CCTV cameras within the temple complex, especially those in the donation counting hall, and satisfaction was expressed with the current organization. It was decided to continue cooperation with the mint, which is an auxiliary institution of the Reserve Bank of India, for verifying the quantity and purity of gold and silver donations.
The distribution of responsibilities and errors related to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State Bank of India were discussed in detail, after which the managing committee expressed disappointment with the bank's reaction. The Trust's finance committee was tasked with reviewing relations with SBI and standard procedures to make necessary decisions.
The committee formed to select the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) was granted an additional month due to the large number of applications. Given the delay in appointing the CEO, the Trust approved the hiring of one secretary. The Trust stated that despite disinformation and allegations, the number of pilgrims at the Ram temple has not decreased, and the faith of the Rambhakts remains unwavering.
The Trust expressed gratitude to the religious community, pilgrims from inside and outside the country, as well as the society of Ayodhya. To maintain regular communication through the media, the Trust decided to appoint a press secretary. The process of filling vacant positions on the managing committee continues and may take several more weeks.
The religious committee was reorganized to preserve the traditional purity of religious rituals, and it will be headed by Swami Govind Deva Giri. Other prominent saints and mahants have also been included in the committee.
