Livestock industry develops in Konimekh: sheep and rams are imported from Mughulistan

The RKOR Tashkent team, having won the world championship title at the international tournament 'XXXXXIII-INTERAMNIA WORLD CUP – 2026' held in Italy, has arrived back home.

Welcome for the Champions

This morning, a solemn event took place at Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent to welcome the world title holders. The champions were warmly greeted by representatives of the Uzbekistan Handball Federation, the management of the Center for Training in Republican Olympic and Paralympic Sports, coaches, athletes, their parents, as well as representatives of the wider sports community.

The team's high results on the international stage were recognized as an important achievement in the development of handball in the country, the support of talented youth, and the enhancement of the national sports school's potential. The success of RKOR Tashkent became yet another bright confirmation of the growing achievements of Uzbek handball on the world stage.

This triumph demonstrated the ability of the country's athletes to participate honorably in prestigious competitions and achieve high results.

A working group led by the head of Namangan region, Shavkat Abdurazzokov, inspected agrotechnical measures for wheat cultivation in Namangan district.

Inspection of farms

Initially, the farm 'Zarbdor Gairat Omad' on the territory of MMTP 'Gairat' was visited. The progress of work on pest control, irrigation, fertilization, and cultivation was analyzed. Farmers were given recommendations and instructions regarding the timely and quality execution of agrotechnical measures and the elimination of identified shortcomings.

Additionally, at the farm 'Gairat Zamin', special attention was paid to the importance of timely pruning of wheat and the effective use of growth regulators.

Application of modern technologies

The working group also inspected wheat fields in several farms on the territory of MMTP 'Turkistan'. At the farm 'Tepaqorgon Marjonguli', it was noted that the implemented drip irrigation system ensures water and time savings, increases labor productivity, and guarantees sustainable wheat development.

Importance of timely work

During the study, it was emphasized that the high-quality and timely execution of agrotechnical measures during the 'Zarbdor 30-day' period is a key factor in ensuring a high harvest.
