Most Asian markets showed growth, reflecting the daily gains recorded on Wall Street after the release of major chip manufacturers' reports, which exceeded expectations. The Nikkei 225 of Japan and the Kospi of South Korea rose by 1.93% and 6.01%, respectively.
The Dow Jones and S&P 500 closed higher the previous day—up 0.74% and 0.89%, respectively. The Nasdaq Composite showed a rise of 1.29%.
The rise in oil prices on Wednesday morning was driven by US President Donald Trump downplaying the likelihood of negotiations with Iran, while Washington continued its military actions against Iran, striking new military targets. Regarding Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), the initial listing of Metallic Technoforge will enter the second day of subscription on Wednesday; the company plans to raise 49.96 crore rupees from the primary market. Gulf Lloyds will open subscriptions on the third day, this being a book-building issue worth 18.19 crore rupees.

These companies plan to raise ₹981.291 crore and ₹126.25 crore from the primary market. Today also marks the end of the subscription period for the Millworks Technologies IPO, which is a book-building issue worth ₹160.34 crore and consists solely of a fresh issue.
Additionally, Laser Power & Infra will be listed on the exchanges on Thursday. Its IPO, amounting to ₹742 crore, was subscribed 41.05 times on the last day of subscription.
