The discussions took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, led by Saif bin Nasir Al-Taiwani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ad-Dhahiliya Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the negotiations. Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, represented the Uzbek side.

During the meetings, the parties reviewed issues concerning increasing mutual trade turnover, expanding investment cooperation, and implementing joint projects in various sectors of the economy. Special attention was paid to sectors such as jewelry, petrochemicals, food products, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and the hotel business.
Investments and Tourism
Participants discussed the potential for deep processing of fruits and vegetables grown in Uzbekistan to produce high value-added products. The Omani side showed significant interest in launching joint investment projects in this area, as well as supplying finished products to the Omani market and other foreign countries.
Furthermore, the parties discussed possibilities for more effective utilization of the tourism potential of both nations, including the creation of new travel routes and the development of tourism infrastructure. The visit also facilitated B2B meetings where representatives of businesses from Uzbekistan and Oman sought direct partnerships.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular dialogue between their business communities and supporting joint initiatives and projects.
