Uzhydromet has issued two emergency warnings regarding weather conditions in the country. On Monday, July 20, increased air currents are expected in various regions, and the period from July 21 to July 24 carries an elevated risk of mudflow and flood phenomena in mountainous and foothill areas.
According to meteorologists' data, during the day, wind speed in some parts of the republic may increase up to 13–18 meters per second. In Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Kashkadarya regions, individual districts may feel gusts of up to 20–22 meters per second. Additionally, a dust storm is possible in these areas.
In the capital, Tashkent, the wind may also strengthen to 12–15 meters per second, and a dust storm is also forecast in certain districts there.
Due to the forecasted rains from July 21 to July 24, there is a probability of mudflow and flood phenomena in the mountainous and foothill areas of Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, and Andijan regions. Forecasters also warn of the possibility of rainwater accumulation in certain areas, which could trigger local flooding.
The following districts and settlements are in a high-risk zone: Akhangaran, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Pskent, Urtachirchik, and Yukorichirchik districts of Tashkent region, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk. In Namangan region, risks concern the Papsky, Kasansai, Chartak, Chust, Namangan, and Yangikorgan districts. In Fergana region, the Sohk, Shahimardan, Fergana, and Besharyk districts have been identified as dangerous. In Andijan region, risk zones include Andijansky, Asakinsky, Jalakuduksky, Kurgantepinsky, Pahtaabadsky, Izbaskansky, Khodjaabadsky, and Markhamatsky districts, as well as the city of Khanabad.
Residents living in foothill and mountainous areas, as well as drivers heading into mountainous terrain and tourists, are strongly advised to take necessary precautions.

Specialists strongly recommend that citizens take all precautions due to dangerous meteorological phenomena. Residents are advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Drivers should exercise increased caution on the roads due to strong winds and potential reduced visibility caused by dust.

Uzhydromet reported that very hot air is expected to arrive in the territory of Uzbekistan from the southern direction between July 13 and 17.
According to the forecast, on the hottest days, the air temperature in most of the country will reach readings of +41 to +43 degrees Celsius. In the northern, southern, and desert zones, even higher temperatures are expected—from +44 to +46 degrees.
Additionally, in some places, wind load may increase up to 13–18 meters per second, and dusty ground may be observed in certain areas.
