Haojue expanded its offering in the Brazilian market last Friday, the 17th, by presenting two new motorcycle models: the Burgman ADX 125 scooter and the NK 160 trail, which replaces the NK 150.
New models and prices
Both vehicles were introduced to strengthen the manufacturer's lineup, focusing on a higher level of technology and equipment, in addition to receiving mechanical improvements. The NK 160 is already available at dealerships for R$ 19,510, while the Burgman ADX 125 has a suggested price of R$ 16,950. It is important to note that shipping costs are not included in the presented values.
Return of the Burgman to the market
The main highlight is the return of the Burgman name to the Brazilian scene. This scooter, which was previously sold in the country under the brand Suzuki, Haojue's current partner, arrives in a completely renewed version after an 11-year hiatus. The strategy is to offer a more robust technological package to compete in the low-displacement urban segment.
Improvements to the Burgman ADX 125 include the adoption of a 12-inch front wheel, larger than the previous one, which contributes to greater stability. The model is also equipped with front ABS braking, traction control with an option to disable it, keyless entry, and a parking brake. Additionally, the accessory list includes a TFT display, full LED lighting (which can be turned off), a USB port, and a standard rear trunk.
Burgman ADX 125 specifications
The Burgman ADX operates with a 124.9 cm³ single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine generates 9 hp of power and 1.02 kgfm of torque, coupled with a CVT automatic transmission.
Updates to the Haojue NK 160
The NK 160 received a significant engine update, migrating from a 150 cm³ powertrain to a 162 cm³ single-cylinder. According to Haojue, this change increased power by approximately 20%, going from 12 hp on the NK 150 to 14.3 hp at 8,000 rpm. Torque reaches 1.48 kgfm at 6,500 rpm, and it maintains a five-speed manual gearbox.
In addition to the new engine, the motorcycle had adjustments to its structure and equipment. It now features a disc brake on the rear wheel, although the ABS system remains active only on the front wheel. The manufacturer emphasizes that the channel configuration allows the rear wheel to remain free on sandy terrain, a feature appreciated by riders who use the model off-road. The optical unit has been modernized to use all LED lighting, and the digital display and USB input remain standard items. The trail preserves its original dimensions, with a 19-inch front wheel, 17-inch rear wheel, and long-travel suspension, maintaining its ability to navigate between urban environments and dirt roads.
