The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference titled 'Current State and Prospects for the Development of Renewable Energy' was held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
Participants and Initiators of the Conference
This forum was organized at the initiative of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. Scientists and experts from both within the country and abroad, representatives of ministries and departments, research institutes, higher educational institutions, as well as delegations from international organizations, took part in the event.
Participation of Uzbekistan
According to information from the Energy Affairs Service, the delegation of Tajikistan participated in this international conference as part of the regional project 'Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia,' implemented by the German Institute of International Cooperation (GIZ).
Discussed Areas
Key vectors for the development of renewable energy, the implementation of innovative technologies, digitalization of the energy sector, the use of artificial intelligence capabilities in grid management, and the prospects for further development of solar and wind energy were discussed during the plenary sessions.
Presentation of Uzbekistan's Experience
Lectures on improving energy efficiency, widespread adoption of renewable energy sources, digital transformation of the energy industry, and training of scientific personnel were presented during the conference. Furthermore, the delegation of Uzbekistan shared its practical experience with participants, presenting reforms and achievements in the field of developing 'green' energy in its country.
