A solemn event dedicated to the graduates of the 2025/2026 academic year, titled 'Graduate – 2026,' took place at Guliston State University. During the ceremony, diplomas confirming the successful completion of bachelor's and master's degrees were solemnly presented to the graduates.
The university rector, Mukshin Khodiyev, opened the event, congratulating the graduates on successfully completing higher education and wishing them great success in their future professional careers. Additionally, Otabek Mavlonberdiyev, Deputy Head of the Syrdarya Region, university professor Khazratkul Qarshiboev, and Ravshan Mahmudov expressed sincere wishes to the youth and urged them to use their acquired knowledge and potential for the benefit of national development.
The culmination of the ceremony was the presentation of diplomas to graduates who successfully completed bachelor's and master's programs. Parents of holders of preferential diplomas also gave a speech, expressing gratitude to the teachers for their contribution to their children's success.
Kumushoy Qurbonova, who completed her master's program in linguistics, emphasized that the knowledge gained at the university will serve as a solid foundation for her future activities. She noted that the years spent in the master's program were not only a school of deep theoretical knowledge but also a school of independent thinking, scientific research, and professional skill enhancement. Kumushoy Qurbonova stated that she aims to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practice to make a worthy contribution to the development of education and science. She added that the diploma places a great responsibility on her and will serve as a reliable support in her future work.
At the end of the ceremony, the graduates bid farewell to the teachers and took commemorative photos, thereby Guliston State University passed on the young generation striving for knowledge, initiative, and high goals into life.
An event was held at Navoi State University to award diplomas to graduates. In the 2025-2026 academic year, students completed their studies at Navoi State University, totaling 4889 individuals. Among them, 4662 graduated from 35 bachelor's programs, and 227 received a master's degree.
The Rector of the university, Mukhiddin Kalonov, noted that this higher educational institution holds its place not only in the region but also at the republic level. He emphasized that the institution, with a 43-year history, graduates specialists who enter the labor market as experienced professionals. This result reflects the effectiveness of reforms in the country's higher education sector, including improving the quality of teaching according to international standards, increasing the productivity of scientific research, expanding the academic and financial independence of educational institutions, and implementing sustainable development goals.
A completely new system for working with youth is currently being formed in the country. The sense of social activity among young people, as well as their involvement in the fate of the Motherland and the people, is strengthening, which contributes to expanding participation in building the new state of Uzbekistan.
Shakhnoza Makhmudova shared her impressions, saying: 'The greatest happiness for a person is the achievements gained through knowledge. The testing procedure for admission to bachelor's programs at higher education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year has started in the Syrdarya region. Exams began today, July 14, and are organized in accordance with the established procedure.
All preparatory work for conducting the testing at a high level was completed in advance by the Syrdarya region division of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. The examination venues are equipped according to modern requirements, and all necessary conditions have been created for applicants. Furthermore, security services, medical care, maintenance of public order, and technical support have been provided.
Approximately 100 experienced observers have been involved to ensure the fairness and transparency of the testing process. The exams are conducted in strict compliance with the current regulations. In the first shift of testing, 1200 applicants participated, who passed the verification of their knowledge and readiness. Young people began this important stage on the path to obtaining higher education with great responsibility.
According to a representative of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Syrdarya region, all preparations for conducting the testing were completed within the established deadlines. Necessary and safe conditions were created for applicants at the examination venues. Experienced observers, technical specialists, and other responsible services have been involved to ensure the openness and transparency of the process. The main goal is to ensure a fair, just, and transparent assessment of each applicant's knowledge.
It is worth noting that this year, 677,907 applicants attended the republic-wide testing, of whom 21,101 chose the Syrdarya region to take the test. Testing in Syrdarya will take place over 9 days and will conclude on July 22, announced Alisher Bahromov, head of the Syrdarya region division of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

The international educational forum 'Summer University - 2026' is taking place at Kazan Federal University in the city of Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, having started on July 6th.
Students and young researchers from 25 countries have gathered as part of this project. Students from higher education institutions in Uzbekistan are also participating, enhancing their knowledge and skills in modern fields such as artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and biomedicine.
The educational program includes theoretical classes, as well as practical lessons in modern simulation centers and masterclasses with leading international specialists. Additionally, participants attend lectures and seminars on astrophysics and other scientific disciplines.

He plans to continue the family tradition of dentists.
