Similar cases have been recorded in many districts, including Buston, Oltinkul, Khovos, Toshloq, Sharof Rashidov, Uchquduq, and Dehqanobod. Because of this, the number of appeals to the President regarding inclusion in the register has increased by 1.5 times since the beginning of the year, reaching 46 thousand people from the initial 30 thousand.
The Prosecutor General's Office has been instructed to exercise strict control over the proper maintenance of the social register. Sh. Mirziyoyeva, the First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection, has been tasked with regularly providing the President with information on the integrity of the register.
Furthermore, managers have been assigned the task of implementing 25 types of services in mahallas by the end of the year, including early diagnosis of disability, home adaptation, and placement in social homes.
Within three months, support centers will be created for children affected by violence or left unattended, as well as organizing day and home care for individuals with dementia and intellectual disabilities in 250 mahallas. Additionally, the 'Active Life' program will be launched for elderly people needing care in 75 mahallas.
Currently, a video selection meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is ongoing, dedicated to introducing new approaches in mahallas and updating the activities of the 'neighborhood community.'
Training courses (ToT) on the basic principles of adaptive social protection and adaptation to climate change were held in Tashkent, organized by the National Agency for Social Protection. These events took place from July 7 to 9 of this year.
The final stage of this training course was conducted today. This initiative aims to increase the effectiveness of the country's social protection system, adapt it to climate change, natural disasters, and other emergencies, as well as ensure the stability and continuity of social services provided to the population.
Two specialists from the management of the National Agency for Social Protection for the Tashkent region, as well as employees of 'Inson' social service centers in the districts, participated in the training. They will work in the future as local trainers, organizing training seminars for social sphere employees in the regions.
The learning process was organized using interactive sessions and individual coaching based on adult education principles. Within the framework of the program, participants strengthened their theoretical and practical skills in areas such as assessing risks associated with climate change and natural disasters, rapid emergency response, effective use of early warning systems, coordination of work between state institutions, as well as planning trainings and managing group dynamics.
In the next stage of the project, these trainers will conduct regional training seminars across the republic in July-August. It is planned to cover about 850 specialists. Among them will be employees of the central apparatus and regional departments of the National Agency for Social Protection, representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as specialists from 'Inson' social service centers.
This program contributes to strengthening the readiness of the social protection system for various crisis situations, expands opportunities for the advance assessment of population needs, and raises interagency cooperation to a new level. Thus, another important step has been taken towards forming a modern social protection system in the country capable of promptly responding to the needs of the population by implementing the principles of adaptive social protection.
