The national boxing team of Uzbekistan won at the Asian Youth Boxing Championship under 19, securing seven gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. Thanks to these achievements, the team took first place in the overall standings.
Men's Championship Results
The matches among the young men took place on the final day of the competition. Utkirbek Norkosimov won the Asian title in the under 50 kg category, defeating Edil Askanbayev from Kazakhstan by unanimous decision with a score of 5:0.
In the under 55 kg division, Elyor Rustamov won gold after defeating Aditya from India with a score of 5:0. Mukhammadrizo Ukimov also achieved victory with a score of 5:0 in the under 60 kg category, overcoming Siva Chainarong from Thailand.
Other Significant Victories
Sukhrob Rahmatullaev became champion in the under 75 kg category, stopping Dongjin Kim from South Korea in the second round. Abror Sharipov won gold in the under 80 kg category, managing to return to the fight after losing in the first round and defeating Timur Taybekov from Kazakhstan.
In the final of the under 85 kg category, Sardorbek Bahromkhujaev defeated Ruslan Akhmetov from Kazakhstan with a score of 3:2. Asadbek Sultanboev brought the seventh gold medal to Uzbekistan in the under 90 kg category, defeating Shubham Rajput from India with a score of 5:0; Rajput was given three warnings during the fight.

Islam Salikhov won silver in the over 90 kg category, losing in the final to Vladislav Samozhonov from Kazakhstan with a score of 3:2. Earlier, Saidkhudja Sadillakhujaev won bronze in the under 70 kg division, but lost in the semi-finals to Bibaris Ashirbayev from Kazakhstan by unanimous decision 5:0.
As a result, Uzbekistan took first place in the overall standings at the Asian Youth Boxing Championship under 19. Kazakhstan finished in second place, and South Korea took third place.
