O.N. Khudoykulov, head of the Tashkent branch of Temiryulkargo JSC, and Xun Xin, director of Guizhou Dongxun Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the meetings. The parties focused on issues of increasing the efficiency of using rail transport in logistics processes.
Furthermore, the organization of timely and reliable supplies of modern Chinese equipment and technologies to Uzbekistan via rail transport was discussed. Participants also reviewed proposals for increasing cargo handling capacities and creating new freight terminals.
The head of the Tashkent branch of Temiryulkargo presented potential sites and opportunities for implementing investment projects at the Akhangaran station, which could contribute to the development of logistics initiatives. At the conclusion of the negotiations, both companies confirmed their interest in further developing logistical cooperation and supporting promising business ventures.
Representatives from Uzbekistan and Oman held talks focused on opportunities to deepen trade, economic, and investment interaction, as well as developing direct ties between the business communities of both countries.
The discussions took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, led by Saif bin Nasir Al-Taiwani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ad-Dhahiliya Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in the negotiations. Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, represented the Uzbek side.
During the meetings, the parties reviewed issues concerning increasing mutual trade turnover, expanding investment cooperation, and implementing joint projects in various sectors of the economy. Special attention was paid to sectors such as jewelry, petrochemicals, food products, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and the hotel business.
Participants discussed the potential for deep processing of fruits and vegetables grown in Uzbekistan to produce high value-added products. The Omani side showed significant interest in launching joint investment projects in this area, as well as supplying finished products to the Omani market and other foreign countries.
Furthermore, the parties discussed possibilities for more effective utilization of the tourism potential of both nations, including the creation of new travel routes and the development of tourism infrastructure. The visit also facilitated B2B meetings where representatives of businesses from Uzbekistan and Oman sought direct partnerships.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular dialogue between their business communities and supporting joint initiatives and projects.
During a visit by employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan to the Puzian district of Jinhua city, meetings were held with the local administration's leadership, and negotiations took place within the framework of the Uzbek-Chinese business forum with representatives of major Chinese companies.
In the meeting with the district mayor Liu Ci, the parties discussed expanding economic ties and developing interregional cooperation. A Chinese representative noted that thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both countries, relations between Uzbekistan and China have reached the highest level, and he confirmed his readiness to support joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
The Uzbek side invited Liu Ci to visit Uzbekistan to further develop interregional cooperation. The Mayor of Puzian supported this idea and stated his readiness to organize a visit by a business delegation including representatives of leading enterprises in the district.
As part of the business forum, representatives of state bodies, educational institutions, and more than 60 Chinese companies received information about Uzbekistan's investment potential, business conditions, economic reforms, and measures for economic liberalization to create a favorable investment climate. After the forum, participants discussed promising directions for cooperation and agreed to hold business missions for Chinese entrepreneurs in the regions of Uzbekistan.
In separate negotiations with the management of Zhejiang Juyitang Garment Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Pujiang Bohu Chain Co., Ltd., the possibility of establishing production facilities in Uzbekistan for textile products and protective chains for car tires was considered. Furthermore, Ni Bulun, chairman of Pujiang Jida Home Textile Co., Ltd., reported that the enterprise is studying the option of relocating part of its production capacity to Uzbekistan due to difficulties encountered in the company's operations in other countries. The parties agreed to arrange a visit by representatives of this company to Uzbekistan by the end of the current year.
