An antelope was recorded in the 'Vandob' section of the 'Surkhon' state reserve in the Sherobod district area. Specialists note that these animals inhabit sandy deserts, semi-deserts, and mountainous areas, possessing high drought resistance. They feed on various desert plants and obtain necessary moisture from these plants.
Currently, approximately 200 animals are registered in the 'Surkhon' state reserve, nearly 30 of which are included in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
