In most regions of the republic, temperatures are expected to rise to 43–45 degrees. However, in the southern and desert areas, temperatures may reach 46–48 degrees in places. Additionally, increased wind activity up to 13–18 m/s is forecast across the entire country, with possible gusts up to 20–22 m/s.
Dust storms and dust devils may occur in some areas. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the population is strongly urged to minimize time spent under direct sunlight, strictly monitor water balance, and pay special attention to children, the elderly, and citizens with chronic diseases.
The upcoming week promises to be one of the hottest of the summer in Uzbekistan. According to forecasts, from July 13 to July 17, air temperatures are expected to rise in most regions, and in some areas of the country, they may reach 46 degrees. At the same time, nighttime temperatures will maintain summer mugginess.
According to Uzhydromet, mostly dry weather is expected across the country on July 13. However, in the afternoon, thunderstorms and short-term rains are possible in certain parts of the Fergana Valley. Daytime temperatures will be 38-41 degrees, and in desert, southern, and northern regions, they may rise to 42-44 degrees.
The heat will intensify in the following days. By mid-week, daytime figures will reach 41-43 degrees. In the northern, southern, and desert zones, thermometers may raise the level to 44-46 degrees. Nights will also be hot: temperatures are expected to be from 23 to 28 degrees, and in the desert, southern, and northern zones—from 28 to 33 degrees.
Wind speed is forecast at 7-12 meters per second, with the possibility of increasing to 13-18 meters per second. Dust storms may occur in several areas. Thunderstorms and short-term rains are predicted in mountainous regions on July 13 and 14. Additionally, on July 13, there is a risk of mudslides and floods in the foothills and mountainous areas of Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions.
In the capital, Tashkent, high temperatures will also persist until the end of the week. On July 13 and 14, the air will warm up to 38-40 degrees, and from July 15 to July 17, an increase to 40-43 degrees is expected. At night in Tashkent, the temperature will be from 25 to 28 degrees.
