After seven generations of evolution in the foldable category, this technology combines a titanium alloy film and a plate made of the same material. The company claims that this combination balances three crucial factors: reduced thickness, bending capability, and greater durability.
Flex Titanium will be integrated into future Galaxy foldables. Samsung justifies its development by the need to enhance the user experience, focusing on visual immersion, screen stability, and mitigating the crease mark.
The structure uses two titanium elements. The titanium alloy film is placed under the OLED panel, serving as internal support, and has a mechanical rigidity 20 times higher than polymeric films.
