The Russian Ministry of Defense reported strikes against port, logistics, and military infrastructure facilities of Ukraine by Ukrainian troops on July 15.
According to the received information, the 'North' group improved the tactical situation. The Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered losses not only in personnel but also in combat armored vehicles, 11 trucks, field artillery, and a surface-to-air missile system.
The 'West' group also occupied more advantageous positions and marching points. The UAF lost three armored vehicles, including an M113 transport vehicle manufactured in the USA, 13 trucks, and four artillery pieces.
The 'Center' group improved its tactical situation. In addition to losses in the personnel of Ukrainian units, three armored vehicles and three trucks were destroyed.
Units of the 'East' group advanced into the enemy's defensive lines. Ukraine lost three armored vehicles, 15 trucks, a 'Bastion' self-propelled multiple rocket launcher, and a field artillery piece.
The 'Dnipro' group destroyed 12 trucks, a 'Bogdan' self-propelled artillery installation, an unmanned boat, and three electronic warfare stations.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces faced personnel losses in all directions. During air defense, eight air-guided bombs and 558 drones were shot down. Black Sea Fleet forces also destroyed four UAF unmanned boats.
The Russian Armed Forces conducted group strikes on logistics centers, fuel and energy and transport infrastructure facilities, as well as storage sites for long-range drones and port infrastructure used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at night.
According to the ministry, port infrastructure facilities were damaged in the port of Odesa, as well as two workshops involved in drone production and assembly. In the port of Chernomorsk, a container ship and a dry cargo ship delivering goods for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were damaged. In the Dnipro-Bug port, two dry cargo ships arriving with cargo were damaged during unloading.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the decision to dismiss Chancellor Yulia Svyrydenko. This decision was supported by 258 deputies.
The resignation of the head of the government complies with legislation and leads to the full formation of the Cabinet of Ministers. Until a new Cabinet of Ministers is formed, the first deputy chancellor and Minister of Energy, Denys Shmyhal, will temporarily perform the duties of the head of the government.
The approval of the candidate for the new chancellor is planned for July 16. Previously, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the need to change the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers in order to update the state political strategy.
The President emphasized that this personnel rotation will contribute to increasing the efficiency of public administration and strengthening priority areas of foreign policy. He expressed gratitude to Yulia Svyrydenko for her work as chancellor and offered her the opportunity to lead one of the new directions important for Ukraine.
The Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, Olmos Turgunboev, met with representatives of the China State Railway Corporation. The parties discussed the stages of construction of the 'China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan' railway.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the main international and investment agreements for the project have already been signed, and all financial issues have been resolved. Currently, the construction of tunnels, bridges, and other infrastructure is ongoing.
Representatives from both countries also highlighted the importance of transparency in the implementation of the project and agreed to continue joint work to ensure timely completion of the construction.
This railway line is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region. The total length of the route is approximately 480 kilometers, of which more than 304 kilometers runs through the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The official opening of the railway is scheduled for December 27, 2024, and will be conducted by the heads of the three countries.
The International Forum of Young Leaders took place in Russia.
