The Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Beldersoy Resort & SPA, which is the first Destination by Hyatt resort in Uzbekistan. This property is also the company's first premium mountain resort in the country.
Location and Amenities of the Resort
The resort is located in the Beldersoy Mountains, in the Chimgan-Bostanlyk region. Due to its proximity to ski slopes, cable cars, as well as hiking and cycling trails, it functions as a year-round destination. Nearby are Lake Charvak, the village of Chimgan, and Tashkent.
Architecture and Design
Beldersoy Resort & SPA features 109 guest rooms and 36 standalone villas with mountain views. The interior is designed in a modern style, utilizing natural color palettes and incorporating handcrafted items from local artisans inspired by Uzbekistan's cultural heritage.
Philosophy and Sustainable Development
Michelle Morau, Managing Director of Hyatt EAME North, noted that the resort combines modern design, high standards of service, and respect for local culture. He emphasized that this is the first Destination by Hyatt property in the region to offer wellness programs based on the natural environment and a holistic approach to well-being.
Khaled Shaker, General Manager of Beldersoy Resort & SPA, stressed that preserving the natural landscape, green areas, and environmental sustainability was given special importance during the complex's creation. He added that the resort incorporates engineering solutions aimed at reducing energy consumption, efficiently using water resources, and minimizing environmental impact.
Facilities and Gastronomy
One of the key features of the resort is the wellness center, inspired by thalassotherapy. Guests can use both indoor and outdoor pools, including a seawater and mineral salt pool, a high-magnesium relaxation pool, and an infinity pool overlooking the horizon. Furthermore, the resort offers spa services, a fitness center, and organized outdoor recreational programs.
The gastronomic area includes two restaurants and a lobby lounge. The Nafis restaurant serves seasonal dishes throughout the day, while Fire & Ice specializes in meat dishes and signature culinary creations. Two conference halls and the Tien Shan ballroom are available for conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, and other events.
