FIFA has announced the participants for the closing ceremony of the 2026 World Cup, which will take place before the final match. Among the world celebrities who will perform at this ceremony are Tom Cruise, Nicole Scherzinger, and IShowSpeed.

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, and will be held at the New York New Jersey Stadium. It aims to mark the hosting of the largest FIFA World Cup in history. The 2026 tournament featured 48 countries competing across three host nations: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

According to FIFA, the pre-match spectacle will combine football, music, and entertainment elements, marking the end of the month-long tournament. Confirmed stars of the show include Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, pop singer Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Pausini, and Robbie Williams, as well as popular streamer IShowSpeed, who became one of the most famous internet personalities during the tournament.
Additionally, singer and actress Jennifer Hudson will perform the United States anthem before the game. According to Heimo Sirgi, Chief Operating Officer of FIFA World Cup 2026, the ceremony will reflect the spirit of the opening, which welcomed the world to the great arena in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, summarizing the FIFA World Cup 2026 through music, culture, and football before the start of the long-awaited match.

The closing ceremony will conclude the historic tournament, which was significant not only for its expanded format but also for the entertainment component that accompanied the entire championship. However, this is not the only star attraction awaiting fans. FIFA also previously confirmed plans for the first-ever World Cup semi-final show, featuring global artists such as Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. This 11-minute performance is curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, whose goal is to expand access to education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
