An additional 6,000 international cargo transport permits are allocated for Uzbekistan for 2026

Entrance examinations for admission to state higher and vocational educational institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year have started in Samarkand, which aligns with the republic-wide process.

Scale of the Exams

According to data from the regional department of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment, 71,848 applicants will take the exam in Samarkand. Necessary conditions have been prepared for them in six spacious buildings attached to the regional department and higher education institutions. A total of 4,110 people can take the test simultaneously in these premises. All buildings are equipped with air conditioning to maintain a cool temperature, and each applicant has been issued a 0.5-liter bottle of water and a ballpoint pen.

Testing Process

The first session, held in the morning from 8:00 to 11:00, involved young people, and the second session continued from 15:00 to 18:00. More than 4,000 young men and women participated in the process.

Applicants' Position and Control

Dilshod Kamolov, who lives in the village of Bahrin Tuman Urgut, shared his experience: 'I received a recommendation for benefits when enrolling in a higher education institution after military service.' He noted that he is interested in caninology and was preparing for chemistry and biology tests. He expressed hope of becoming a specialist in his area of interest and serving his country as a student.

The testing process is conducted under full video surveillance and is broadcast online via the website test2026.uz. Parents and relatives of applicants can monitor the process through large monitors and the internet. Additionally, facilities have been created around the buildings where the tests are held for the needs of parents.

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, on measures to organize the activities of 'Jasorat Maktablari' and prepare for admission to general secondary educational institutions, the first stage of entrance examinations at 'Jasorat Maktablari' began across the country today.

Conducting the Testing

Students are taking test exams in their native languages and mathematics. These tests were organized at a high level at the building of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment Directorate for the Karakalpakstan Republic, at the sports arena of the Karakalpak State University, at the sports complex of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute, as well as at Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in the city of Nukus.

Monitoring the Process

The examination process was monitored by the prosecutor of Nukus, adjutant Colonel Aziz Matyakubov, and the First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Karakalpakstan Republic, Aybek Daulatbayev. They ensured that the testing was conducted openly, fairly, and in accordance with established rules.

Document Submission Deadlines

According to this directive, document submission for the 2026/2027 academic year will be conducted in an online format from May 15 to June 4 via the portals my.gov.uz and ariza.piima.uz.

A stage of the 'Ishbilarmon Ayol – 2026' competition took place in the Saihunobod district amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and healthy competition. The main goal of this event was to enhance the entrepreneurial potential of women, support their initiatives, and popularize advanced business ideas.

Organization and Participants of the Competition

The event was organized at the initiative of the Kengash of Sir Darya Region and the Saihunobod district. Participants included the district administration, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the district department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment. Fifteen female entrepreneurs operating in various sectors presented their business projects, handmade products, and craft samples.

Project Evaluation and Results

The jury comprehensively evaluated the participants' initiatives based on economic efficiency, number of jobs created, product quality, and innovative approach. Following the competition, Dildora Norboeva, who successfully operates in the fishing and tourism sectors, was recognized as the winner. Rukhshona Olimjonova took second place, and Nigora Zarmasova took third.

Recognition of Achievements and Significance of the Competition

The winners and active participants received diplomas and commemorative gifts from O‘zLiDeP. The competition demonstrated the important role and potential of women entrepreneurs in developing the country's economy, ensuring employment, and improving family welfare. Nodira Mirzaeva, Deputy Head of the District and Head of the Department of Family and Women, noted that the winners are not only worthy of recognition but also inspire other women, giving them confidence that they too can achieve success.
