A briefing was held to analyze the results of handling appeals from individuals and legal entities at Uzbekkoymir Joint Stock Company. During this event, Ne'mat Dushaev, Head of Information Service of Uzbekkoymir Joint Stock Company, provided detailed information.
In the first half of this year, the company received a total of 262 appeals. This figure is 14 fewer than the same period last year, indicating a 5.1% decrease in the number of appeals. It was emphasized that this decrease is related to improving the efficiency of the work system with citizens, regularly organizing public hearings, conducting on-site investigations of appeals, and systematically carrying out preventive explanatory work.
During the briefing, it was noted that the majority of appeals concerned social support, labor relations, wages, and the supply of coal products. Specifically, 118 appeals were related to patronage and financial aid, 61 to labor relations, 35 to wage issues, 8 to the supply of coal products, and 2 to the actions of leaders and officials.
It was stressed that the open and modern mechanisms for handling appeals within the company are constantly being improved. In particular, open discussions are organized monthly via voice chat on the Telegram platform, where responsible leaders and specialists directly answer citizens' questions.
224 of the appeals received during the reporting period, which is 85.8%, were resolved positively. Additionally, legal explanations were provided for 24 appeals, 1 appeal was rejected on valid grounds, and the remaining appeals were reviewed according to established procedures. Notably, there have been no instances of violating the deadlines for reviewing appeals, arbitrarily dismissing appeals, or leaving them outside of supervision.
At the end of the briefing, it was stated that work will continue to improve the appeal handling system at Uzbekkoymir Joint Stock Company, expand open communication with citizens and employees, and ensure that every appeal is resolved legally, fairly, and promptly.
The Competition Committee learned about an advertisement posted by 'ANOR BANK' JSC on its Instagram social network based on a citizen's application from the Tashkent region.
The citizen's appeal noted that the advertisement regarding the promotion announced by the bank did not fully disclose the terms of the promotion. The investigation revealed that important information necessary for consumers to make decisions regarding financial services was not provided in the advertisement.
The missing information includes the conditions for the promotion to be valid, the set limit, and information about the commission fee applied if the limit is exceeded. Therefore, the Committee's Special Commission initiated proceedings against 'ANOR BANK' JSC because the requirements of Articles 16, 21, and 43 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On Advertising' were violated.
As a result of reviewing the case, a financial fine was imposed on the bank. Additionally, the bank was issued an instruction that must be fulfilled to eliminate the violation and ensure that such situations do not recur in the future.
A socio-educational event named 'Davraga Kel, Dugonajon!' was held in the city of Shirin, located in the Sirdariyo region, to mark the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
