An achievement by an Uzbek athlete was noted at the 'Serey Internazionale Citta Di Pordenone' international tournament held in the city of Pordenone, Italy.
As part of this prestigious UCI 1.1 level competition, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Sergey Rostovtsev, a member of the national team of Uzbekistan, won the track race. He finished first, ahead of representatives from European, American, and Asian countries.
Another Uzbek cyclist, Nikita Tsvetkov, participated in this stage of the competition program and took fifth place among almost thirty participants.
Additionally, members of the national team, Dmitry Bocharov and Mukhriddin Saparov, also took part in the Italian competitions, gaining valuable experience in participating in major tournaments. The international tournament will continue until July 19.
In Tashkent, the capital, an gaming tournament took place among IIBB employees from structural and territorial units, jointly with the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department and the 'Zakovat' club.
As part of the event, 29 teams from the structural units and territorial departments of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department competed for the title of winners.
After intense competition, the team from the IIBB of Tashkent city won first place. Second place was taken by the IIO FMB team from the Almazor district, and third place was received by the IIO FMB team from the Yunusobod district.
Each of these teams was awarded diplomas, commemorative gifts, and cash prizes.
The national gymnastics team has departed for Milan. The city of Milan in Italy is hosting the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship from July 10 to July 12.
The national team of Uzbekistan will participate in this prestigious tournament, aiming to win prizes in both individual and group events.
In the team representing Uzbekistan, Takhmina Ikromova and Lola Zhuraeva will compete in the individual competition. In the group exercises, Fatima El-Sankari, Milana Safina, Irodahon Sodikova, Michelle Nesterova, Diana Hakimova, and Sofia Usova will represent the country.
International judge Sevar Karimova will officiate at the World Championship competitions. The gymnasts' preparation for the tournament was handled by Liliya Vlasova, Inara Zabrodina-Sattarova, and Maya Filippova.
