Casa L.A., a project presented by the design team Emedos Projetos, is located in the gated community La Z Residence. This development is situated in the central area of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.
The main objective of Casa L.A. is to establish a symbiotic relationship between the physical environment of the land and the architectural construction itself. To achieve this, the project aims to integrate the various social areas that make up the residence internally.
The contemporary residential development, consisting of four houses in the condominium located in Abuxarda, Portugal, was conceived to maximize the site's topography, natural light, and surrounding landscape.
The four units were arranged following a staggered design. This architectural arrangement ensures that each home has privacy, enjoys unobstructed views, and has its own outdoor spaces.
Despite the individuality of each house, the complex maintains a unified architectural identity throughout all its parts, according to the project team.
The project team presented the description of the Casa Ouriques / Ultra Arquitetura project, which consists of transforming an already existing home into a modern complex.
The work aims to expand the house's areas, integrating elements of architecture, interior design, and landscaping, while giving the property a new identity while preserving its original essence.
The basis of the proposal arose from the client's request to carry out a complete renovation of the current residence. This project foresees a considerable increase in built surfaces and the modernization of the rooms, with the aim of completely revitalizing the house.
