The peaceful village of Curimataí, located 300 km north of Belo Horizonte, is characterized by its natural beauty, including waterfalls and a pleasant rural environment.
History and water resources
Since historical records, the village has benefited from the wonders offered by nature. In 1817, the French naturalist Auguste de Saint-Hilaire observed that the residents of Curimataí were privileged regarding water, as several streams descended from the mountain, circulating through the settlement, maintaining certain humidity and enabling irrigation.
