A new global study commissioned by AutoTrader, the UK's largest car marketplace, revealed that South African drivers spend an average of over ten days a year driving solely for commuting.

The average time spent by South African motorists is 10 days, 4 hours, and 48 minutes annually. This figure significantly exceeds the global average of 8 days, 5 hours, and 53 minutes. Furthermore, South Africa tops the international ranking, slightly ahead of India (10 days, 1 hour, and 55 minutes) and Ireland (9 days, 14 hours, and 10 minutes).
