The President of Ukraine stated that military actions have managed to return the war to its initial point. He reported on attacks on another oil refinery in the city of Afipsky, located in Krasnodar Krai, approximately 400 kilometers from the front line.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine specified that on the night of a recent day, several drones struck one of the largest petrochemical plants of Gazprom, located in the city of Salavat, Bashkortostan. This facility is 1300 kilometers from the front line.
Furthermore, Zelensky mentioned 'successful attacks' in the port city of Gelendzhik, also in Krasnodar Krai. Strikes were also carried out in the Sea of Azov against a patrol boat and several tankers belonging to the so-called 'ghost fleet' of Russia, which Moscow uses to bypass sanctions.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukrainian military continues to conduct long-range attacks against Russian enterprises and facilities that supply the war, noting that Russia has begun to feel fuel shortages. According to Kyiv authorities, this facility in Bashkortostan was the last major gasoline producer that had not been subjected to shelling by Ukrainian shells this year.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military also reported that over the past nine days, 116 Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov were hit by Ukrainian drones.
