Hot summer weather seriously affects not only human health but also the quality of medications stored in home first-aid kits. Improper storage of drugs can sharply reduce their effectiveness, alter their chemical composition, or even render them completely unsuitable or toxic for use.
According to specialists, to preserve the therapeutic properties of medicines during hot days, several recommendations must be followed. First and foremost, the room temperature should be kept within 15–25 degrees Celsius for most preparations. It is important to avoid leaving medicines on windowsills, balconies, or in places exposed to direct sunlight, as light and heat quickly degrade the quality of the medications.
Using a refrigerator is permissible only for those medications whose instructions require storage at 2–8 degrees Celsius; not all preparations require such storage. Considering that the temperature inside a car in summer can exceed 60 degrees, it is strictly forbidden to leave medicines in the car. Furthermore, medications must always be stored in a dry, cool place, not in areas like the bathroom or kitchen where humidity is high.
It is also recommended to keep medicines exclusively in their original packaging, without transferring them to other containers. For safety purposes, all medicinal products must be kept out of reach of children or in a locked area.
The safety of medicines is related not only to storage conditions but also to the problem of counterfeit goods in the market, which is considered a global threat. According to official data from the World Health Organization, the share of falsified medicines in the global pharmaceutical market is about 10 percent. In low- and middle-income countries, this figure is significantly higher: one substandard or counterfeit product may be present in every ten medical units, and in some regions of Africa and Asia, due to weak control, this percentage reaches 19–50 percent.
Experts note that the annual global turnover of counterfeit medicines exceeds 4.4 billion US dollars. The risks associated with fake drugs are very high: they often contain dangerous toxic mixtures, incorrect active ingredients, or incorrect dosages, which can lead to mass poisoning, such as in cases involving foreign cough syrups.
Moreover, counterfeit antibiotics contribute to bacterial mutation because they do not destroy them completely, thereby accelerating the problem of drug resistance (superbugs) worldwide. Medicines sold through internet resources and unlicensed marketplaces also pose a greater danger, as up to 50 percent of goods purchased on websites that hide their physical location may turn out to be counterfeit. Currently, criminal groups are involved in counterfeiting not only common painkillers but also oncological drugs, hormones, and expensive vaccines.
The quality of medicines and their proper storage are directly linked to human life and health. Since the active ingredient of a medicine can decompose under the influence of high temperatures, forming toxic compounds, any changes in color, odor, or appearance of the preparation mean that it cannot be used. Caution and responsibility when purchasing and storing medicines at home are signs of a healthy lifestyle.
The fight against corruption, ensuring legality and transparency in public services, as well as taking measures against abuse of official authority, has become one of the priority areas of state policy in the country. Consistent and prompt actions by law enforcement agencies in this area contribute not only to crime prevention but also to strengthening public trust in state institutions.
During a recent operational event, law enforcement officers detained an employee of the Investment and Foreign Trade Department of the Zhizkh region. The detention occurred while he was receiving the remaining 900 US dollars out of the required 1000 US dollars for the allocation of a land plot.
According to preliminary information, this amount was demanded in exchange for a promise to assist in allocating land for an elite commercial and industrial object, utilizing connections within the power system.

There is a saying among our people: 'What is obtained dishonestly leads to dishonesty.'
The country's anti-corruption system is constantly being improved. The adopted legal documents are aimed at further strengthening the principles of honesty, openness, and accountability in public service. In particular, the Presidential Decree adopted on April 21, 2025, 'On Measures for the Effective Organization of Priority Tasks for Improving the Anti-Corruption System,' aims to strengthen preventive measures, introduce effective mechanisms to counteract the use of official powers for personal gain, and form an absolutely zero-tolerance environment for corruption.

Ensuring the legal assessment of every illegal action and determining the responsibility of the guilty parties is one of the most important factors in increasing the effectiveness of the fight against corruption, creating an atmosphere of honesty in public service, and strengthening public trust.
In the new Uzbekistan, elevating the value of the individual and reliably protecting legitimate interests has become a priority direction of state policy. Today, the consumer has broad legal opportunities to appeal, restore justice, and receive compensation for damages if their rights are violated.
In the city of Zarafshan, a citizen concluded a sales contract for a two-room apartment with a construction company for a total amount of 295 million sums, having paid 136 million sums. However, because the construction work was performed poorly and the apartment was not handed over on schedule, the consumer demanded the cancellation of the contract and the return of the deposited funds. Multiple appeals to the head of the construction company went unheeded.
Subsequently, the citizen turned to the Consumer Rights Protection Society of Zarafshan city. During an inspection conducted by the society's employees regarding this complaint, the arguments presented by the citizen were confirmed. Since reaching a mutually acceptable solution between the parties proved impossible, the society filed a lawsuit in court, defending the consumer's legitimate interests.
The court reviewed the case from all sides and fully satisfied the claims of the lawsuit. According to the court's decision, the construction firm is obliged to return the sum of 136 million sums to the consumer, which he paid. As a result, these funds were fully recovered, and the citizen's violated rights were restored.
The consumer protection system demonstrates effectiveness not only through judicial proceedings but also through the prompt examination of complaints and dispute resolution through mutual agreement.
Citizen A.E., residing in the Mustaqillik Mahalla, Nurota District, purchased 165 sheets of slate for 7 million 590 thousand sums for his house. Nevertheless, after covering the roof, it began to leak during the rain, and it was established that the product quality did not meet the required level. After appeals to the seller yielded no positive results, the consumer turned to the Consumer Rights Protection Society of Nurota District.
The society's specialists studied the situation and explained the entrepreneur the current legislative norms. As a result of the legal actions taken, all defective slate sheets in the citizen's house were replaced with new ones.
Such examples clearly demonstrate the practical effectiveness of the legal reforms being carried out in the country. Most importantly, citizens' confidence in defending their rights, relying on the law, and achieving justice is constantly strengthening.

Philologist Doctor of Sciences Qozoqboi Yo'ldoshev stated that Farida's works reflect the fruits of feelings, warmth, and emotions. He added that examples of her work can often be attributed to mystical themes. These beautiful poems are performed by artists, which has allowed songs written by Farida Afruz to win the hearts of millions of listeners. His poems can be called an expression of divine feelings. He suggested that many desires and sufferings accumulated in her heart, and her work can be described as messages from a philosopher, poet, and person rebelling against fate.
Writer and publicist Khurshid Dustmuhammad shared his opinion that Farida's poems captivate the reader. He described them as blooming, fiery, and trembling, penetrating into people's hearts. According to him, in these poems, the poet skillfully finds and expresses thoughts that have not been spoken.
