The Andijan region has planned the creation of production for new types of agricultural machinery based on Belarusian technologies.
Agreement Reached in Belarus
The relevant agreement was concluded during the visit of the Andijan region delegation to Belarus. Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, the region's head, held negotiations with Alexander Trukhanovich, the head of the Belarusian company LidaTechmash LLC, at a facility located in the Lid district of the Grodno region.
Details of the Joint Project
The parties discussed the possibility of expanding the production of agricultural machinery in the Andijan region and creating new production capacities. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement a joint project for producing affordable and compact equipment for gardens and farms, as well as modern agricultural machinery for planting and harvesting potatoes.
Expected Results of Cooperation
The implementation of this project is designed to provide the region's agricultural sector with modern and inexpensive equipment, increase the level of mechanization of agricultural work, and stimulate labor productivity in the industry. This project marks another stage in the development of industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of agricultural machinery manufacturing.
