Entrance tests for higher educational institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year have started at the center for training in Olympic and Paralympic sports in Namangan. The exams are being conducted in accordance with the approved procedure and regulations of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment.
During the testing process, applicants were informed about the examination procedures and established requirements. Special attention is paid to ensuring that the exams in all classrooms are transparent and fair.
In the Namangan region, tests are organized in five buildings across three districts. The exams will take place from July 14 to July 23 in two shifts—at 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
The total number of applicants registered for admission to the region's higher educational institutions is 50,806 people. Conditions have been created for 2,550 applicants to participate in each shift, totaling 5,100 participants per day.
The final stage of the 'Minister's Cup of Preschool and School Education' volleyball tournament among employees of preschool educational institutions and general schools has started at the 'Pakhlavon' sports complex in the new district of Namangan.
The solemn opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by Farhod Bokiyev, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education, and Botirjon Nuriddinov, Deputy Head of Namangan Region. They congratulated the teams on the start of the final stage and wished the participants success.

According to the relevant Cabinet of Ministers decision dated February 12, 2024, trainee teachers hired for the first time in general secondary education institutions, as well as educators without the corresponding qualification category, must pass professional certification tests.
Beginning on July 1, 2026, applications will be accepted through the Unified Interactive State Portal and State Service Centers. The deadline for submitting documents will be extended until June 31, 2026, inclusive.
Trainee teachers who scored less than 56 points or did not participate in the professional certification tests conducted in March-June of this year for various reasons are given the opportunity to reapply during this period.
