Ibrohim Zhumanazarov's Achievement
On July 7, during the match in the 8th round of the youth categories, Ibrohim Zhumanazarov defeated Kazakh Alram Mukashev while playing with the white pieces. This victory allowed him to become champion earlier than scheduled.
Over the remaining eight rounds, Ibrohim scored 7.5 points. A lead of 1.5 points over his competitors guaranteed him the tournament winner title prematurely.

According to the regulations of the Central and North Asian Chess Championship, I. Zhumanazarov, having become the winner of the U12 category, received the FIDE master title and a cash prize of 500 US dollars.
