On July 7, during the match in the 8th round of the youth categories, Ibrohim Zhumanazarov defeated Kazakh Alram Mukashev while playing with the white pieces. This victory allowed him to become champion earlier than scheduled.
Over the remaining eight rounds, Ibrohim scored 7.5 points. A lead of 1.5 points over his competitors guaranteed him the tournament winner title prematurely.
