The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated weekly ranking of professional female tennis players. According to this ranking, compiled after the Wimbledon tournament, three athletes from Uzbekistan managed to improve their positions.
Changes Among Uzbek Tennis Players
Maria Timofeeva, who held the second spot in the ranking, moved up 16 places to take the 79th position. Kamilla Rakhimova, the number one ranked player, dropped 8 points, settling at 78th place. Additionally, Polina Kudermetova, the fourth-ranked player, advanced 4 positions, and Laima Vladson, the fourth-ranked player, rose to 57th place.
