On East Nanjing Road, one of Shanghai's most iconic pedestrian corridors, the revitalization of Century Square has been completed. This project was signed by Benedetta Tagliabue, through EMBT, in partnership with Tongji University Architectural Design and Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd.

New Concept for the Plaza

The plaza, located in a strategic spot on East Nanjing Road, has been redesigned to become an urban environment that is simultaneously vibrant, ecological, and interactive. Historically, Century Square was already known for hosting various shows and events.
