An unusual incident related to the banking system has occurred in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. A huge balance of billions of rupees suddenly appeared in the accounts of Kameshwar Mishra, known as 'Ghumkar,' and his disabled son, who reside in the village of Thatiya Siko, Sakra block.
Discovery of Funds in Accounts
Kameshwar Mishra stated that he went to the CSC center in his village to receive a pension. His disabled son, who receives a disability allowance, accompanied him. After receiving the pension payments, they checked their account balance.
Size of the Unexpected Balance
Upon checking, Kameshwar Mishra's account showed 759,69,51,951 rupees, which is approximately 7.59 billion rupees. A similar amount was also noticed in his disabled son's account. Thus, the total balance in both accounts reached about 15 billion rupees. This situation caused great surprise to the family and the CSC operator.
Demands and Assumptions
Kameshwar Mishra, also known as 'Ghumkar Kavi,' stated that he is a simple person and does not understand how such a large sum could appear in his account. He demanded an investigation into the incident by the bank and relevant authorities, as well as the provision of the correct account balance. Currently, it is unclear why such a large sum appeared in the accounts. It is assumed that this might be related to an error in the banking system or a technical glitch. The bank has not yet issued any official statements on this matter.
