The regional stage of the Republican Competition 'Yashillik va Tozalik Kubogi' (Cup of Greenery and Cleanliness) has concluded. This competition is held as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 25, 2026, on comprehensive measures to activate environmental education, science, and promotion in the Navoi region.
This competition aims to support advanced initiatives related to enhancing ecological thinking and environmental culture among students, fostering a responsible attitude towards nature, and preserving the environment.
The work of teams that won prizes at the district and city levels, under the management of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the region, was carefully reviewed. Participants were evaluated by the regional commission according to the criteria established in the Competition Regulations, based on their environmental initiatives, practical projects, and achievements across the three competition conditions.
Following the final stage, it was determined that the team from the 21st Secondary School of Karman District took first place, the team from the 10th Secondary School of Navbahor District received second place, and the team from the 3rd Secondary School of Navoi city won third place.
As part of implementing the state head's resolution from January 5, 2026, on introducing a comprehensive system for creating a safe environment in republican mahallas, increasing the effectiveness of social prevention was identified as a priority task.
The main goal is to significantly reduce the crime rate by effectively implementing targeted preventive measures to ensure reliable safety in mahallas. The importance of achieving public consensus through the creation of an operational response system to any illegal incidents and conducting this activity directly on-site was also emphasized.
The Prosecutor's Office carries out continuous work in cooperation with employees of other law enforcement agencies to ensure the execution of this resolution. In particular, at the regular meeting of the Republican Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters, chaired by the First Deputy Chief Prosecutor Bakhriddin Valiev, issues regarding the implementation of the resolution were discussed.
The meeting included heads of relevant departments of the Chief Prosecutor's Office and responsible employees of ministries, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, the Ministry of Health, the National Guard, the Committee on Family and Women, the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan, and the Youth Affairs Agency. Additionally, leaders of the Academy of Legal Protection, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Institute of Criminological Research, and Tashkent State University of Law were present.
The meeting focused on problems identified during inspections conducted by the Republican Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters in various regions over the past period. Proposals from ministries, agencies, and scientific and educational institutions regarding eliminating shortcomings in creating a safe environment in mahallas, strengthening crime prevention, activating social preventive measures, maintaining public order, as well as creating 'model safe streets' and 'safe homes' in mahallas, and measures to prevent similar deficiencies in the future were considered. A corresponding decision was adopted following the headquarters meeting.
Following the lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran's oil exports, the country began selling its oil with a 20 percent premium. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalipour announced that frozen funds amounting to $12 billion have been returned, and Iran can use this money as it sees fit.
According to the representative, after the removal of restrictions on oil trade, the country's raw materials are being released onto the market at a price 20 percent higher than before. He called on the United States not to violate the agreements reached and emphasized that no country could benefit from oil trade if an attempt were made to deprive Iran of the ability to sell oil.

Furthermore, he criticized President Donald Trump's statement that 'frozen funds must be used exclusively to purchase products from American farmers.' According to the speaker, in accordance with the reached memorandum, $12 billion out of $24 billion held abroad should be transferred to the Central Bank of Iran. This means that the Islamic Republic has the opportunity to purchase goods from any desired country at any desired price and currency, and this process has already begun.
To ensure the implementation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan's decision dated October 6, 2025, strengthen the material and technical base of the consumer rights protection system, and increase the efficiency of handling appeals, official vehicles were transferred to the Kashkadarya region.
The Federation of Consumer Protection Societies of Uzbekistan transferred modern official transport to the regional association of the Kashkadarya region. Specifically, 'Tracker' brand cars were transferred to the consumer protection societies of the cities of Koson and Mirishkor, while 'Onix' brand cars were transferred to the consumer protection societies of the Kashkadarya region.
These vehicles play an important role in timely study of citizens' appeals on-site, organizing field receptions, conducting public monitoring, promptly investigating cases of consumer rights violations, as well as expanding the scope of legal consultations for the population. Furthermore, they enhance the ability to provide prompt and quality assistance to residents of remote areas.
Currently, the federal system pays special attention to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, resolving appeals in the shortest possible time, improving public control mechanisms, and working with the population locally.
Strengthening the material and technical base contributes to increasing the efficiency of territorial units' activities and improving the quality and speed of public service.
