The admissions process to technical colleges is ongoing. Currently, 9th-grade graduates can apply online for training at technical colleges for the 2026–2027 academic year between July 1 and July 20. Applications are accepted through the my.edu.uz platform.
Opportunities for 9th-grade graduates
Opportunities have been created for 9th-grade graduates to study in 166 specialties across 570 technical colleges. The total quota is 202,657 places. Application submissions for this group run from July 1 to July 20. This year, it is planned to enroll 34 percent of 9th-grade graduates into technical colleges.
Admissions for 11th-grade graduates
For 11th-grade graduates, 276 fields of study in specialties and professions are available in 641 technical colleges. The total quota reaches 134,570 places, of which 61,298 places are provided under a state grant. Document submission for this category is scheduled from August 10 to September 10.
Additional programs and training
Furthermore, 27 professions and specialties will be taught in 14 Innovative Vocational Technical Colleges. These colleges have a total quota of 1,760 places, including 1,640 places under a state grant. Documents for all programs are submitted remotely via the my.edu.uz platform. The duration of study in technical colleges ranges from 2 to 3 years, depending on the chosen specialty. Graduates of technical colleges have the right to enter the second stage of higher education at higher education institutions.
State educational plans
It is emphasized that this year special attention is being paid to directing 9th-grade graduates into technical and vocational education. According to state plans, it is planned to cover at least 50 percent of 9th-grade graduates with technical colleges by 2030.
