According to data from the Agency for Statistics, the total volume of the mining industry and quarry development works in Uzbekistan reached 34.7 trillion sums for the period from January to May 2026.
Structure of Industrial Production
During this five-month period, the manufacturing industry accounted for the largest share of the total industrial production. Its volume was 436.2 trillion sums, corresponding to 86.2% of the total indicator.
Sector Distribution
In addition to the manufacturing industry, the mining sector and quarry development provided 6.9% of the total volume. The electricity supply, gas, steam, and air conditioning sector also held a significant share, amounting to 6.4% and reaching 32.4 trillion sums.
Furthermore, the share of the water supply, sewerage, waste collection, and disposal sector was recorded at 0.5%, equivalent to 2.7 trillion sums.
