Mirziyodov Yunus, chairman of the Uzeltekhsanoat Association, visited the production facilities of the Polish company Elkat during his trip to Poland. During this visit, representatives of both sides discussed prospects for expanding practical cooperation in the field of electrical engineering.
During the visit to the enterprise, the Uzbek delegation familiarized itself with Elkat's quality control systems, technological capabilities, and production processes. Elkat specializes in manufacturing components for low-voltage electrical equipment, such as distribution blocks, connecting elements, and insulated busbar systems.
Within the framework of the meetings, the parties discussed opportunities for developing industrial cooperation between Elkat and enterprises operating in Uzbekistan's electrical engineering sector. Particular attention was paid to issues of organizing mutual product supplies.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met on July 6 with Salim bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), who arrived in the country to participate in the opening ceremony of the First International Forum of Islamic Civilization.

The Joint Stock Company Uzkimyosanoat held a meeting with Sergey Filatov, Rector of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Russia. The goal of the negotiations was to discuss prospects for developing joint interaction in the fields of education, science, and training personnel for the chemical industry.
The participants reviewed issues related to training highly qualified specialists, strengthening ties between education and production, and expanding scientific exchange. Special attention was paid to increasing the involvement of the university's branch in the educational and innovation cluster of the chemical industry.
The creation of a dual education system, organization of internships for students, and improvement of graduate employment mechanisms were also discussed. Furthermore, the parties talked about implementing joint scientific and educational projects adapted to industrial needs, promoting scientific research, academic exchange programs, and professional development initiatives for specialists.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of partnership in the fields of education, science, and production, as well as on joint work to train competitive personnel and form a modern educational environment for the chemical industry.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloev, held talks in Muscat on July 1, 2026, with Salim Ali Sayabi, Chairman of the Omani company Alsiyabi International Group LLC.
The parties discussed specific proposals to strengthen cooperation in the fields of construction, tourism, infrastructure, and the establishment of medical facilities.
During the meeting, the issue of the Omani company's participation in the implementation of major urban development projects in Uzbekistan was also considered. The introduction of modern engineering and construction solutions, the development of tourist infrastructure, and the formation of partnerships in real estate development were discussed.
