The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, met with the Egyptian national football team, as well as its technical and administrative staff, in the city of El Alamein on Saturday. Present at the meeting were Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Youth and Sports Johar Nabil, and the President of the Egyptian Football Association, Hany Abou Ride.

El-Sisi shared lunch with the players and team members. During this event, the players thanked the president for the recognition and promised to continue developing the team's achievements.
According to the president's press secretary, Ambassador Mohamed El Shennawy, El-Sisi highly praised the team's performance, noting that the widespread recognition they received reflects the pride of Egyptians, Arabs, foreign communities, and football fans around the world.
