BYD has implemented a price adjustment for the entry-level version of the Dolphin Mini, the best-selling electric car model in Brazil. The GL 2026 configuration's price was reduced from R$ 118,990 to R$ 109,990, representing a discount of R$ 9,000.
Offer Conditions
Initially, the manufacturer's official website presented this reduction as an offer intended for individuals (CPF), suggesting it would be available to the general consumer. However, upon consulting a brand dealership, the opposite was stated: the Dolphin GL would not be accessible to individuals, and the promotional price would be exclusively valid for professional drivers through the Move Brasil program.
Other Price Options
Furthermore, the announced value does not represent the lowest available price. Surveys conducted by specialized portals indicate that the same GL model can be purchased for R$ 107,990 by PcD clients and for R$ 103,990 for taxi drivers who use the IPI exemption. For legal entities (CNPJ), the established price is R$ 109,990.
Dolphin Mini GL Features
Even as the entry option, the Dolphin Mini GL offers a competitive set of features. This hatchback has an electric motor that generates 75 hp and 13.8 kgfm, equipped with a 30.08 kWh battery, providing an autonomy of 224 km according to the Inmetro cycle. Standard items include 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, air conditioning system, four airbags, 10.1-inch rotating multimedia center, 7-inch digital dashboard, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4G connectivity, and remote update capability (OTA).
Compared to the more expensive versions, this basic edition omits features such as curtain airbags, 360-degree camera, electric adjustable driver seat, inductive charger, and the higher capacity battery, which reaches 38 kWh and allows for approximately 280 km of travel.
