The Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE) received approximately 60 requests for intervention after registering around one hundred consumer complaints, stemming from adverse weather conditions at the beginning of the year, according to data provided to the Lusa agency.
Context of Complaints
In response to an information request from Lusa regarding the six months of the Kristin depression, which severely impacted the Leiria area, ERSE detailed that there were about 100 records in the complaints book, resulting in approximately 60 formal requests for regulator intervention.
The regulator clarified that the complaints generally concern the duration of supply interruptions, communication problems with the network operator, as well as damage or losses suffered by equipment.
