The National Center Kelayak of Uzbekistan and the Russian Center for Children and Youth (Rosdetcenter) have signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of supplementary education and youth upbringing. This document was signed on July 9, 2026, in Moscow during the working trip of the Director of the Kelayak Center, Indira Kholdarova.

Negotiations and Joint Plans

During Kholdarova's visit, she visited the federal office of Rosdetcenter and held negotiations with the organization's director, Alexander Kudryashov. Following the meeting, both parties agreed to develop joint projects aimed at the comprehensive development of children and youth, as well as expanding the exchange of professional experience.

Positions of the Parties

Alexander Kudryashov noted that Rosdetcenter, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, is constantly developing international cooperation in the field of upbringing and education. He emphasized that interaction with colleagues from Uzbekistan will form the basis for long-term projects demanded by both specialists and youth, contributing to the strengthening of human ties between the two countries.

Indira Kholdarova stressed that this agreement opens up new opportunities for implementing joint initiatives in the areas of upbringing, supplementary education, and professional development of specialists. She stated that the parties are interested not only in exchanging experience but also in creating sustainable cooperation mechanisms for introducing best practices and expanding prospects for the younger generation.

Terms and Activities of the Centers

The agreement provides for interaction in the educational sphere, the provision of supplementary education to students of educational institutions in both countries, as well as the exchange of advanced methodologies and the implementation of joint projects.

The National Center Kelayak was established in September 2025 by a decree of the President of Uzbekistan. The Center coordinates the work of school mentors in supporting student initiatives, provides methodological assistance to specialists in the supplementary education system, and ensures the functioning of over 8,000 interest clubs and the KelayakCamp children's health camp. Since its creation, the center has participated in two seasons of a professional competition for school mentors involving about 50,000 people and launched the 'Kelajak Soati' project in all schools, kindergartens, and higher educational institutions of the republic.

The Russian Center for Children and Youth implements programs for the upbringing of children and youth based on spiritual and moral values and promotes international cooperation by advancing the exchange of best practices in educational activities.
