This forum is designed as a platform to strengthen cooperation between the two states in the fields of trade, economy, investment, and interregional interaction. It is expected that representatives from state structures, the business community, and investors from both Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will participate in the event.
Among the participants of the forum will be leading Azerbaijani companies operating in sectors such as agribusiness and food industry, construction and production of building materials, mechanical engineering, information technologies and digital solutions, logistics, healthcare, energy, industrial production, as well as professional and consulting services.
The organizers invite Uzbek companies interested in developing partnerships with Azerbaijani partners to participate in the forum to discuss prospects for joint projects and expand business ties.
A practical seminar on foreign trade forecasting is taking place in Tashkent. The event is scheduled for July 6 to 9, 2026.
The seminar is organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan together with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). Sessions are conducted by professors and experts from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Germany.
Participants study modern methods of analyzing and forecasting foreign trade, including gravity modeling and computable general equilibrium models. This seminar is part of a joint initiative by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and GIZ aimed at strengthening institutional capacity in the field of foreign trade forecasting.
An Uzbek-Pakistani business forum will take place in Tashkent, which will also include meetings for finding business partners (B2B matchmaking). The event is scheduled for July 8, 2026.
