An unfortunate incident occurred in the village of Lula Kapura, Mania block, Dhaulpur district, Rajasthan state, where eleven members of one family suffered from food poisoning after re-consuming leftovers from a birthday celebration.
Circumstances of the Poisoning
According to information, a small girl's birthday was celebrated in the family two days ago, during which many dishes were prepared, including a paneer vegetable dish. After the celebration concluded, the remaining food was served to family members the following day.
Symptoms and Hospitalization
Shortly after consuming the meal, all family members began feeling unwell. They complained of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and discomfort. The family immediately took all affected individuals to the district hospital, where treatment commenced.
Testimonies from Relatives and Doctors
A relative, Mahesh Kushwaha, reported that after most of the party food remained, it was eaten again. He specified that vomiting and stomach pain appeared first, followed by worsening diarrhea and discomfort, which forced them to seek urgent medical attention.
The patients currently admitted to the district hospital are Ronak, Sima, Pinky, Punam, Anushka, Triveni, Sunita, Lucky, Nitin, Satish, and Pancham Singh. Their condition is under constant medical observation.
Diagnosis and Current Status
The Medical Officer of the District Hospital, Dr. Samarvir Singh, confirmed that the celebration took place on July 7th in the village of Lula Kapura, and the leftover paneer sabzi was consumed the next day. Following this, 11 family members experienced stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. All were hospitalized for treatment.
According to the Medical Officer, the current condition of all patients is stable and normal. The medical team is continuously monitoring them and providing necessary assistance. Preliminary examinations indicate food poisoning.
