Khasan Salikhov appointed as Presidential Representative of Uzbekistan for Culture

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has implemented a change in the leadership of the Committee on Family and Women. Dilnozahon Kattakhonova, who is the Deputy Prime Minister, was appointed to the position of committee chairperson.

Changes in Management Structure

According to information provided by the state head's press secretary, Sherzodom Asadov, Kattakhonova's appointment resulted in her being relieved of her previous position as the first deputy director of the Youth Affairs Agency. She previously held this position, which was occupied by Zulaykho Makhamova, who moved to another job.

Other Appointments and Personnel Changes

It was previously announced that Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Sardor Umurzakov to the position of director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms. Consequently, the position of advisor to the head of state on strategic development was abolished, and Umurzakov himself was relieved of this post.
