The People's Guardian of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Ibrohimov, shared his opinion regarding the influence of artificial intelligence on art and synthetic voices created using this technology.
Modern Context of Technology
He noted that humanity today lives in a technological age, and artificial intelligence is actively penetrating all spheres of our life. Especially among young people, there is a growing interest in technologies, digital tools, and new innovations. However, this process has not led to a decrease in attention to art and culture.
Changing Attitude Towards Creativity
According to Ilhom Ibrohimov, the attitude towards the profession of an artist used to be different. Many people did not take this field seriously, sometimes asking children, 'Will you become an artist?' However, the situation has changed drastically now. Parents actively bring their children to music schools and cultural centers, striving to develop their talents.
This indicates a noticeable increase in trust, respect, and interest in art within society.
Limitations of Artificial Intelligence
Responding to the question of whether live performance and true art can be replaced by AI-generated voices, Ilhom Ibrohimov emphasized that regardless of the level of AI development, its main weakness is the lack of feelings. A machine is incapable of fully reproducing the pain, soul, inner reflections, and natural intonation inherent in the human voice. This aspect defines the true power of art. Since a song or poem consists not only of words but also embodies the heart, feelings, and life experience of the performer.
The Role of Humans in Art
Ilhom Ibrohimov also drew the attention of the Uzbek public to the fact that they are capable of sensing the subtle aspects of art and distinguishing between an artificially created voice and a real voice. He concluded: 'The soul of art lies in feeling and emotion. No artificial intelligence can fully replace that.' In his opinion, technology can serve as an auxiliary tool for art, but the place of genuine creativity and live performance will always remain unique. Therefore, talented and strong figures in the arts will continue to emerge among our people in the future.
