Fire tragedy in Andalusia
In Andalusia, southern Spain, a forest fire that started on Thursday in Los Gallardos resulted in at least 12 deaths and 8 injuries, with four of these victims in serious condition, according to updates provided by the Junta de Andalucía.
The victims, who are suspected to be foreign tourists, were hit by the flames after attempting to leave the area via a path different from the official evacuation route. Authorities suspect the deceased were British, based on the steering wheel orientation of the vehicles found at the scene, although formal identification has not yet been completed.
