As part of preventive measures conducted from July 5 to September 5 under the name 'Dolzarb 60 kun,' a press conference was held at the Emergency Situations Department of Karashadary Region.
According to data, 478 fires occurred in Karashadary Region over the past six months, causing material damage to society and the state exceeding 5 billion sums. As a result of these incidents, 11 citizens were injured.
Although the number of fires this year has decreased by 7.7% compared to the same period last year, and human casualties were prevented, analysts note an increase in the number of blazes in areas such as Dekhkonobod, Guzor, Kukdala, Kuson, Kamashi, Nishon, and Kasbi.
The head of the department, Farhod Mirzaev, emphasized that the main cause of fires is related to human factors. He noted that one of the most critical issues is the non-compliance with safe use rules for electrical equipment. In this regard, special attention is being paid to strengthening preventive work and improving fire safety culture among the population.
As part of the 'Dolzarb 60 kun' event, preventive measures are being strengthened for markets, large shopping centers, economic sector enterprises, production facilities with high risk of fire and explosion, public places, kindergartens, sanatoriums, as well as residential buildings, to ensure compliance with fire safety requirements. Additionally, targeted work is being carried out to protect forests and natural territories from fire, as well as to clear dry grass.
It was found that fires resulting from violations of safe electrical equipment use rules have increased by 46% compared to last year. Therefore, one of the key tasks of the 'Dolzarb 60 kun' campaign is to further strengthen propaganda work among the population, entrepreneurs, and organizations, as well as to increase the sense of responsibility for fire safety among every citizen.
Answers were provided to questions from mass media representatives at the press conference, and it was announced that fire prevention measures will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer season.
Currently, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting preventive measures in the republic under the name 'Dolzarb 60 kun' to prevent fires.
Various measures are being implemented during this monthly period, including monitoring the safe use of electrical and gas equipment in residential premises, strengthening preventive work in educational and healthcare institutions, ensuring fire safety at power supply facilities, markets, and shopping complexes, as well as tightening preventive measures at especially important and hazardous production sites.
In particular, employees of the Special Rescue Battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted training on behavior rules for children vacationing in a summer children's camp. Participants are taught the procedure for correct and quick actions in the event of an emergency, evacuation rules, and basic first aid.
During the classes, children were given practical advice on how not to panic during various emergencies, strictly follow the instructions of rescue services, and how to protect themselves and others. Special equipment and technology were demonstrated.
As part of implementing the state head's resolution from January 5, 2026, on introducing a comprehensive system for creating a safe environment in republican mahallas, increasing the effectiveness of social prevention was identified as a priority task.
The main goal is to significantly reduce the crime rate by effectively implementing targeted preventive measures to ensure reliable safety in mahallas. The importance of achieving public consensus through the creation of an operational response system to any illegal incidents and conducting this activity directly on-site was also emphasized.
The Prosecutor's Office carries out continuous work in cooperation with employees of other law enforcement agencies to ensure the execution of this resolution. In particular, at the regular meeting of the Republican Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters, chaired by the First Deputy Chief Prosecutor Bakhriddin Valiev, issues regarding the implementation of the resolution were discussed.
The meeting included heads of relevant departments of the Chief Prosecutor's Office and responsible employees of ministries, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, the Ministry of Health, the National Guard, the Committee on Family and Women, the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan, and the Youth Affairs Agency. Additionally, leaders of the Academy of Legal Protection, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Institute of Criminological Research, and Tashkent State University of Law were present.
The meeting focused on problems identified during inspections conducted by the Republican Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters in various regions over the past period. Proposals from ministries, agencies, and scientific and educational institutions regarding eliminating shortcomings in creating a safe environment in mahallas, strengthening crime prevention, activating social preventive measures, maintaining public order, as well as creating 'model safe streets' and 'safe homes' in mahallas, and measures to prevent similar deficiencies in the future were considered. A corresponding decision was adopted following the headquarters meeting.
The planned grain harvest for 2026 has been completed in the Fergana region. Grain crops were grown on an area of 92.2 thousand hectares, taking into account agrotechnical requirements. Thanks to a good harvest, the grain collection season was organized smoothly.
It is planned to collect over 900 thousand tons of grain products, based on an average yield of 100 centners per hectare. High results were achieved due to the selection of varieties suitable for the local climate and soil conditions, a scientific approach, quality seed preparation, and the wide implementation of modern intensive agricultural technologies.
The fulfillment of the established contract plan exceeded the norm, which was a significant victory for labor on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Independence. The Fergana region demonstrates examples of successful implementation of economic reforms aimed at strengthening food sovereignty, improving agricultural culture, and ensuring the food security of the population. To date, over 307 thousand tons of raw grain have been delivered to the state.
In particular, farmers from the districts of Buvaid, Besharik, Bag'dod, Uchkuprik, Qushtepa, as well as residents of the city of Quvasoy, achieved high results by exceeding the established plan. Farmers' farms 'Munis Ro'zali Mumtoz', 'Saminjon ota', 'Hafizaxon Bonuhon', 'Yahyobek Muhsinbek' from Buvaid district, as well as 'A. Madaminov', 'G'ani ota', 'Abdumutal Bag'dod' from Bag'dod district, 'Davr Tursun' and 'Nasibahon Habibahon' from Qushtepa district, harvested over 100 centners of grain per hectare.
Currently, harvesting operations are continuing in the region. Additionally, active work is being carried out on replanting fields that were freed up after the main crop harvest.
