The airline 'FlyOne Asia' has started operating flights on the route Tashkent — Grozny — Medina — Grozny — Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Grozny International Airport named after A.A. Kodirov.
According to airport information, the first flight was fully loaded, and an increase in the number of flights is expected in the future. Flights will be conducted on Airbus A320 aircraft. Initially, flights are planned for Thursdays.
This new direction expands air communication between Tashkent and Grozny. Furthermore, it provides the opportunity to travel from Uzbekistan to the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia via Grozny.
According to the Grozny airport, 'FlyOne Asia' has become the third airline operating flights between Grozny and Tashkent. This route is explained by the growing demand and increased passenger flow between Uzbekistan and the Chechen Republic.
The aircraft traveling on the Bishkek–Ush route was unable to take off due to a technical malfunction that occurred during the acceleration procedure. As a result of the incident, a temporary suspension of flights was announced at the airport.
According to information provided by JSC 'Kyrgyzstan Airports', during acceleration, one of the rear landing gear assemblies of the aircraft broke, leading to the aircraft tipping towards the left wing. There were only 187 people on board: 181 passengers, 2 pilots, and 4 flight attendants.
Passengers were evacuated through the emergency exit. Although there were no serious injuries, some passengers sustained minor injuries, such as cuts and bruises, and received medical assistance. Aviation fuel was spilled as a result of the incident, and fire services were working at the scene.
Since the aircraft remained on the runway, arrivals and departures at Manas Airport were temporarily halted. One passenger reported hearing a loud bang several minutes after the aircraft started moving, and the aircraft tipped to the left. He also noted panic in the cabin and a subsequent smell of kerosene. The flight attendants managed to calm the passengers and organize the evacuation.
The State Civil Aviation Agency is conducting an investigation into this case. JSC 'Kyrgyzstan Airports' stated that a commission may be formed to clarify all details of the incident.
The United States government is studying the possibility of introducing entry restrictions into the country for women who are not US citizens and are in advanced stages of pregnancy, with the aim of countering 'medical tourism.'
According to the newspaper 'Telegraph', the White House administration is considering new measures to limit the entry of foreign women seeking to obtain American citizenship through childbirth. This was also reported by an 'SBS News' source.
After entering a second term, President Donald Trump signed a special decree that cancels the automatic citizenship system for infants born on US territory. This provision, introduced by the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, states that it should only apply to children of parents legally and permanently residing in the country. After the Supreme Court suspended the initiative, the head of state called this decision a 'victory for China' and called on Congress to change the legislation.
According to government officials, such a tourist flow poses a threat to national security. There is a fear that children born to foreign mothers may later steal American intellectual property while studying at US higher education institutions.
According to available data, approximately 26,000 children are born annually in the United States to foreign parents, and the current ban aims to stop this flow.
The planned grain harvest for 2026 has been completed in the Fergana region. Grain crops were grown on an area of 92.2 thousand hectares, taking into account agrotechnical requirements. Thanks to a good harvest, the grain collection season was organized smoothly.
It is planned to collect over 900 thousand tons of grain products, based on an average yield of 100 centners per hectare. High results were achieved due to the selection of varieties suitable for the local climate and soil conditions, a scientific approach, quality seed preparation, and the wide implementation of modern intensive agricultural technologies.
The fulfillment of the established contract plan exceeded the norm, which was a significant victory for labor on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Independence. The Fergana region demonstrates examples of successful implementation of economic reforms aimed at strengthening food sovereignty, improving agricultural culture, and ensuring the food security of the population. To date, over 307 thousand tons of raw grain have been delivered to the state.
In particular, farmers from the districts of Buvaid, Besharik, Bag'dod, Uchkuprik, Qushtepa, as well as residents of the city of Quvasoy, achieved high results by exceeding the established plan. Farmers' farms 'Munis Ro'zali Mumtoz', 'Saminjon ota', 'Hafizaxon Bonuhon', 'Yahyobek Muhsinbek' from Buvaid district, as well as 'A. Madaminov', 'G'ani ota', 'Abdumutal Bag'dod' from Bag'dod district, 'Davr Tursun' and 'Nasibahon Habibahon' from Qushtepa district, harvested over 100 centners of grain per hectare.
Currently, harvesting operations are continuing in the region. Additionally, active work is being carried out on replanting fields that were freed up after the main crop harvest.
