An Uzbek citizen and her young child, who were left without means of subsistence after the head of the family was deported, were able to return to their homeland thanks to the assistance of the Consulate General in Vladivostok.
Circumstances of the Situation
A woman from Uzbekistan, who was temporarily staying in Primorsky Krai with a three-year-old child, approached the diplomatic mission requesting help to return home. It turned out that she had arrived in Primorsky Krai in 2025 to join her husband.
Deportation and Hardships
In June 2026, the man was detained for illegal employment, and by court order, he was deported back to Uzbekistan. After this, the woman was left alone with a small child, and she lacked the income to cover housing, food, and other essential needs, placing the family in an extremely difficult financial situation.
Consulate's Assistance
The consulate immediately contacted the Fund under the Migration Agency. Thanks to this fund, the family managed to obtain airline tickets for a flight from Vladivostok to Tashkent. Employees of the diplomatic mission accompanied the mother and child to the airport, from where they safely flew to Uzbekistan. It is worth noting that previously, Uzbek diplomats had assisted the compatriot in reducing the cost of cancer treatment in China.
