Cold with occasional frost is forecast for Gauteng, but overall the weather will be good. The minimum temperature in Vereeniging is expected to reach -1 degree Celsius, and in Johannesburg—up to 3 degrees Celsius. Cool conditions are expected across South Africa this week.
Forecasts for other provinces
Similar conditions are predicted for the Free State, with a minimum temperature in Bloemfontein around -1 degree Celsius, accompanied by morning frost. Good weather is expected in Mbombela, while residents of Polokwane may encounter morning fog.
Weather on the coast and in cities
In KwaZulu-Natal, light or moderate northwesterly or northeasterly winds are forecast for Durban and Richards Bay, with maximum temperatures reaching 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively. In Gqeberha, variable cloudiness is expected in the afternoon, and the wind will be light, first westerly, then easterly. Cape Town may experience morning fog, and during the day, good or variable cloudiness will persist with a maximum temperature of up to 19 degrees Celsius.

No precipitation is expected anywhere in South Africa on Monday and Tuesday. However, on Wednesday, there is a 30% chance of rain along the southern coast of the Cape, from Gansbaai to East London.
